Iron Ore
Description
RV Iron Ore is a minus 3/4" + 1/4" or a minus 1/4" down iron ore aggregate particle as described under typical physical and chemical properties below. The aggregate is a natural iron ore product safe for the environment.
Capabilities
RV Iron ore is available as a particle in sizes from a few microns to approximately 1" as either Fe3O4 or Fe2O3 chemically. The Fe3O4 iron ore is one of the few ferromagnetic minerals that is strongly attracted by a simple magnet. Delivery can be made by truck, rail, or ocean vessels. Packaging is available as needed to meet your needs.
Applications
For production of heavy concrete, counterweight, radiation shielding, nuclear shielding, ballast and other needs requiring heavyweight enviromentally friendly products. Iron Ore can also be used in most heavy media separation process including coal preparation and scrap recycling.
