RV HWA Coarse
Description
RV Heavy Weight Aggregate is a minus 3/4" + 1/4" iron ore aggregate particle as described under typical physical and chemical properties below. The aggregate is a natural iron ore product safe for the environment. Normally it is used in conjunction with the RV Heavy Weight Fine product. Delivery can be made by truck, rail, or ocean vessels.
Capabilities
RV Heavy Weight Coarse Aggregate will achieve concrete weights from standard concrete of 120 lbs/ft3 up to 240 lbs/ft3 depending on mix design and targeted weight requirements. Higher density material can be blended with other Reiss Viking products to achieve weights in excess of 300 lbs.
Applications
For production of Heavy Weight Concrete for small to large counterweight, radiation shielding, ballast, and other needs requiring heavy weight enviromental friendly products.
