RV 50G Mag
Description
Reiss Viking 50G Mag is one of our various sized specialty magnetite products. It is a fine particle size magnetite of which 50 percent of the material passes through a 325-mesh screen. Average particle size is 60 microns. The magnetite, or Fe3O4, is a natural iron ore product safe for the environment. Reiss Viking has a history of providing high quality, consistently supplied, delivered magnetite in bags or bulk to meet customers' requirements worldwide.
Capabilities
RV 50G Mag is a fine black particle and chemically Fe3O4 used for various specialty applications. It is one of the few ferromagnetic minerals that is strongly attracted by a simple magnet. This mineral is of scientific interest because of its special magnetic properties.
Applications
This is used as in polishing compounds, medicines, magnetic inks, the automotive industry, light metals casting, civil engineering, the chemical industry, heat storage, powder metallurgy, a functional polymer filler and in a compounded form for use by the molder. Also in these industries: acoustic/noise, agriculture, ballast, brick/refractory, catalysts, cement, ceramic, coal, coloring, construction, counterweights, drilling, energy, heavyweight aggregate, mineral processing, plastic, powder metallurgy, radiation shielding, smeltering, water treatment heavy media separation, coal separation, brake pad development, pigments, scrap metal recycling and high density safety coating.
